Review of main changes from 2019:
Syllabus content and AO. Discussion.
Operative verbs and rules for graphs: analysis, activities.
Dealing with unfamiliar situations: approaches
Strategies to improve students’ performance:
Time constraints: teaching hours, revision. The time efficient classroom.
Teaching/learning strategies: sharing ideas that work.
Revision and resources.
Assessment, mocks, grading and forecasts.
Assessment for learning.
March 2019 papers: types of questions and markshemes. Analysis and discussion.
Afternoon session:
Marking students' answers to past questions using Cambridge criteria: positive marking, use of markschemes, marking and discussion.
Open forum
