History Teachers working at Primary School Level and Lower Secondary.
To make teachers become aware of the acquisition of skills for IGCSE History and to promote in students:
- An interest in and enthusiasm for learning and understanding about the past.
- An understanding of historical concepts such as cause and consequence, continuity and change, and similarity and difference.
- An appreciation of historical evidence and how to use it.
- A greater understanding of international issues and inter-relationships.
- The presentation of clear and logical arguments.
- This is an Introductory course, specially organised for teachers who have very little or no experience preparing History lessons. Basic concepts will be discussed.
- How to make students enjoy History lessons will be dealt with having in mind the skills for IGCSE History and using the theory of Multiple Intelligences.
