In this session we will examine the growing role of content in teaching English as a foreign language in Primary classrooms. Through the lens of a pedagogic framework, we will explore the world of primary CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and the potential of literature as teaching material to work with content in modern-day classrooms. We will carry out a number of practical activities to help us create language-rich classroom environments and discover the world of stories for content-based planning.
-The workshop has a dialogical and interactive approach.
-Participants will discuss and apply concepts, work with literary texts for children, brainstorm creative teaching ideas, develop supporting teaching materials and carry out interactive tasks in groups.
