To develop Phonics through exploring in more details the teaching of synthetic phonics reinforcing its teaching practice, and learn about how it follows on from the first phases of Phonics. You will be shown how you can continue to develop children’s phonics knowledge enabling them to improve their vocabulary, spelling and comprehension into Year 2.
You will be taken through lesson guides, structure and pace of teaching. Ideas and strategies for teaching spelling through sample lessons and demonstration of real classroom scenarios in the UK and in Argentina.
