- To acquaint teachers with the theoretical background behind the concept of "process writing". - To share experiences, success and frustration in teachers' everyday practice concerning "young authors". - To help teachers find "their legs" when it comes to dealing with students' development of writing skills.
This is a two-session seminar aimed at covering as many aspects as possible about the rationale behind the concept of "Process Writing" and its practical application in Primary School teaching. The two sessions will be organised as follows: Session 1: "The Theory" - About Process Writing. - Product vs. Process. - Steps in Process Writing. - How soon? How? Why? - Food for thought. Session 2: "The Practice" - Process Writing in the Classroom. - Process Writing assessed. - Open Forum.
