Alejandra Alliende

Alejandra Alliende is a graduate Teacher of English from ISP Dr. Joaquin V. Gonzalez. She also graduated as an Actress from Escuela Metropolitana de Arte Dramático de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. She is a bilingual storyteller and performs in book fairs, storytelling festivals, theatres and schools. She has work experience as a teacher, storyteller, speaker and as a workshop facilitator. She belongs to Red Internacional de Cuentacuentos and she is a co-founder of Casa Cuna Cuenteros.

- To discuss, show and share how to carry out a Storytime session in the classroom.
- The facilitor will guide participants in the "how-to-tell-stories" process
- Storytime vs Storytelling
- Seating arrangement suitable for the activity
- Creating "storytime" atmosphere in the classroom
- The use of fingerplays and action rhymes as an introduction to stories.
- The use of picture books and story books during Storytime
- The use of props and other visual and/or auditory aids
