Any teacher interested in the use of cinematic texts in the classroom
The main objectives of the Film Club are to encourage teachers to:
1-Understand how films function as a sygnifying practice.
2-View film texts critically.
3-Develop a cirtical, transcultural gaze.
4-Design interdisciplinary and intermedial school projects.

These are the films which will be analysed together with the literary works:
1- April: "The Hunger Games"
2- May: "Alice in Wonderland"
3- June: "The Tempest"
4- July: "Snow White"
5- August: "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas"
6- September: "The Bridges of Madison County"
7- October: "Animal Farm"
8- November: Dickens goes to the movies

In all the sessions there will be a theoretical introduction to the film which will be analysed. Then, several scenes from the cinematic texts wil lbe screened and analysed in the light of the concepts presented before.
