Language and Literature teachers willing to integrate Narrative Medicine, also known as Bibliotherapy, in their daily teaching
The goal of this presentation is to introduce participants to the emerging field of Narrative Medicine, also known as Bibliotherapy, and its relevance to literature education. We will explore how literature can enhance emotional intelligence and well-being, and examine practical ways to integrate this interdisciplinary approach into teaching. Through the analysis and discussion of selected texts, we will reflect on the pedagogical potential and healing power of narratives, indirectly leaning on Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL), and Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE) as well.

- Exploration of the Derridian concept of the "spectre" and the "Other"
- Discussion and exploration of different narratives and short stories that delve into Narrative Medicine.

Presentation and discussion of Narrative Medicine, fragmentation and dissemination. Exploration of the Derridian concept of the "spectre" and the "Other". Guided group reflection and exchange of ideas on the main issues raised by the comparative analysis of the texts read during the workshop.
