María Laura Chaieb is a graduate lawyer (U.B.A), an accredited professional ontological coach and tutor, Head of Social Studies, and a dedicated teacher with extensive experience in Social Studies and History. Since 2000, she has been successfully teaching IGCSE and A/S History in various prestigious institutions, consistently achieving outstanding results.She participated as an orator at the ESSARP Sharing Good Practice Day, showcasing her proposal, "Bringing History Alive." In 2025, she served as a facilitator for the "Webinar: Welcome to IGCSE History" and led the face-to-face workshop "Follow up: Preparing IGCSE History Paper 2 (Source Analysis).”

-To provide participants with practical experience in tackling Paper 2, enabling them to gain a deeper understanding of its specific requirements.


- To familiarize participants with the assessment objectives of Paper 2.


- To explore and analyze the different types of questions commonly found in the examination.
This year's prescribed topic for the November exam:
"How far was Hitler’s foreign policy to blame for the outbreak of war in Europe in 1939?"
The course will focus on understanding the requirements of Paper 2, with a particular emphasis on source analysis. Participants will engage in an in-depth examination of this year's prescribed topic, applying the concepts and skills necessary for a thorough and well-supported analysis.
