Tutor in: Sociology, Democratic Politics and the State, Foreign Policy Analysis, International Political Theory, International Political Economy for the career of International Relations - University of London-International Programme. IGCSE; A-S/A. Level History Teacher at Sworn Junior College since 1990.
Prospective IGCSE History teachers.
To introduce the structure and requirements of the IGCSE History syllabus and review teaching and assessment resources and methods.

The aim of these series of informative meetings is to make teachers, who are not acquainted with the IGCSE Exams and would like to prepare it, get the knowledge and understanding of the History exam, the organisation and content.
The sessions will consist in:

- Exposition and discussion of syllabus and content area focus.
- Past examination papers.
- Textbooks, on-line resources.
- Teaching method.
- Skills.
- Options.
- Assessment.
- Positive achievement.

There will be time to make questions and clarify doubts by the end of each session.

NB: This is an Introductory course, specially organised for teachers who have very little or no experience preparing these exams. Basic concepts will be discussed. Teachers who have some experience preparing these exams are advised not to attend this course as there will be future sessions in which more specific details of the exams will be developed.
