Social Studies Superior Diploma focused on Curriculum and Social Context issued by FLACSO (Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales) Former Educational Researcher within the Secretary of Education of the City of Buenos Aires. Former IGCSE and AS Sociology Teacher. At present teaches Peace and Conflict Studies (IBO School-based Syllabus) at Washington School and works as a free-lance researcher.
Prospective AS Sociology Teachers and/or school authorities who are thinking of implementing new subjects.
- To brief the participants on the benefits the students and school could gain from learning/teaching the subject and the difficulties both teachers and students may face in the attempt.
- To introduce the AS Sociology Syllabus, its components, assessment criteria, papers, bibliography and complementary sources.
