We recommend this workshop for teachers who are already familiar with the principles of Active Learning. Teachers who really understand the power of metacognitive techniques are able to help their students learn more effectively.  This two-day workshop for teachers, will help them to boost their students’ progress by developing better ways of learning. 

During this workshop we will explore the following topics: 
• The key elements of theory and research on metacognition
• How to get the most out of a range of practical metacognition strategies
• How to apply metacognition strategies to individual teaching contexts
• How to evaluate the impact of metacognition strategies in the classroom
