Pippa Dore is an accredited Cambridge trainer who is a subject expert with a range of relevant classroom experience and has been involved in some aspect of marking.
IGCSE History teachers
Teachers will:

further an understanding of the subject/curriculum key concepts
review syllabus and curriculum framework design and the assessment aims
learn about updates and changes to our syllabuses, programmes or curriculum frameworks
extend their understanding of question papers, marking exercises, examiner feedback and creating their own exam questions for Cambridge IGCSE
create schemes of work and curriculum resources
share a range of approaches to teaching and learning.
Timings and content
Day 1: Looking at the skills requirement
Day 2: Looking at the assessment and mark schemes
Please note: Extension training courses are delivered by trainers who are examiners in at least one component of the syllabus. Cambridge International does not have trainers who are Chief Examiners.
Who is this workshop for?
Extension Training is recommended for teachers who have attended Introductory Training and/or have been teaching Cambridge International programmes and qualifications for at least one year or one exam cycle. If you are new to this syllabus or new to Cambridge International we would strongly recommend you attend an Introductory Training instead.
This training will be delivered in English so participants are required to have sufficient competence in English to participate in the training.
