Secondary level language and literature teachers willing to integrate innovative texts, new media, visual and auditory literacies in their daily teaching.
The purpose of this presentation is to acquaint participants with forms of new writing (twitterature, altered texts, cut-up texts found poetry, erased poetry, blackout poetry, illuminated texts, visual writing, mash-up art) and new media (digital storytelling) so as to foster discussion on their response to different textual forms, both digital and in print.
- Recycled adaptations of canonical texts (altered texts, cut-up texts, found poetry, erased poetry, blackout poetry, illuminated texts, visual writing, mash-up art).

Hands-on practice workshop. During the session, participants will be introduced to the adaptations of several canonical texts, as well as other postmodern digital texts, and will be then asked to produce one of their own.
