How do we teach Shakespeare to our teenage students? Especially, How do we teach a not so friendly play such as Henry IV ? Probably, one way into it is by presenting the play as if it were a contemporary t.v. series or an adventure book. Shall we try?
• Way in: pre-reading activities, different entrance doors.
• Way through: engagement while reading. Ways of reading.
• Way out: how to deal with the questions types the examination presents.

Workshop: participants will be encouraged to participate, express their own views and propose ways to approach the text with students.
