IGCSE Maths teachers and/or Heads.
- To acquaint IGCSE Maths teachers with some general Theory and Practice as with regards to: Transformations, Matrices and Vectors.
- To acquaint IGCSE Maths teachers with some possible introductory examples, some common exercises as with regards to: Transformations, Matrices and Vectors.
- To acquaint IGCSE Maths teachers with examples, exercises and exam questions in an IGCSE – Maths Exam Paper (both at Core and Extended Level) as with regards to: Transformations, Matrices and Vectors.
- To acquaint IGCSE Maths teachers with the Examinations Aims, the Assessment and its Objectives and the Grade descriptions (RUBRICS) and the threshold in a Core and in an Extended level paper as with regards to Transformations, Matrices and Vectors.
- General information about:
* the IGCSE Maths Examination Aims as with regards to: Transformations, Matrices and Vectors.
* the Description of possible exam questions as with regards to: Transformations, Matrices and Vectors.
* the Assessment and its Objectives, the Grade descriptions, the Marking Scheme and the Skills to be fostered as with regards to: Transformations, Matrices and Vectors.
* possible approaches to teach the above mentioned key contents
As an introductory course, specially organized for teachers who have very little or no experience in the teaching and the Assessment Objectives, Grade descriptions (RUBRICS), Marking Scheme and the threshold of the IGCSE Maths Core and Extended level exam, concepts as with regards to: Transformations, Matrices and Vectors will be discussed, necessary information will be provided and correction of scripts will be fulfilled.
Experience concerning possible approaches to teach these key contents will be shared.
