- To suggest different activities to encourage an appreciation and enjoyment of the text.
- To explore some essay questions suitable for IGCSE level.
- George Bernard Shaw and Victorian Drama.
- The importance of Prefaces in G.B.S's plays.
- Workshop activities based on issues such as Victorian Religious Beliefs and Controversy; the Theory of Progress; Liberal Ideas.
Methodology: Textual discussion; group and pair work.
Participants are expected to have read the play before the meeting.
