Teachers will learn:

• To find new "gaps of indeterminacy" in texts and to create their subsequent while- and after-reading creative writing activities.
• To acquire tools to create creative writing activities based on media literacy.
• To design graphics and templates to "scaffold" students' creative writing at different ages and levels.

In this course, teachers will be encouraged to trigger off students' while-reading strategies to the utmost. Besides, teachers will be trained to find new points of entry into? texts and to explore new possibilities of textual intervention by including different forms of media literacy activities. Finally, teachers will be exposed to a wide variety of graphics and templates to help students write at an early stage.
This course will be delivered in a workshop mode for participants to enrich their understanding of the texts with contributions from the group. As the aim of this course is that participants have a hands-on experience, a wide range of texts, graphics and templates will be used as a springboard for textual intervention.
