Analía Kandel

Analía Kandel is a graduate teacher of English (Instituto Nacional Superior del Profesorado "Dr. Joaquín V. González") and was awarded a Master of Arts in the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (with Distinction, The University of Reading, UK). She teaches “English Language III” at ISP JVG and at UB School of Languages. She is the President of APIBA (Asociación de Profesores de Inglés de Buenos Aires), Head of the Foreign Languages Department at Boston College, Information and Special Programmes Officer in the Foreign Languages Area at the Ministry of Education, City of Buenos Aires. Her main pedagogical and research areas are the teaching of writing, vocabulary and ICTs.

This session will demonstrate how specific Web 2.0 tools can be used to support a process-oriented approach to the teaching of writing, in particular for generating ideas, structuring, focusing, drafting, exchanging feedback, revising, assessing, publishing and sharing students' written work with various audiences.
