To provide teachers with new ideas to recycle vocabulary taught in previous lessons in order to ensure students' retention of lexical items in their long-term memory.
In this workshop participants try out 20 innovative ways to recycle vocabulary with students of various age groups, language levels and pedagogic contexts. The activities to be presented are meaningful and relevant to students' personal lives and aim at fostering elaboration, depth and distinctiveness of processing in order to ensure retention of lexical items in long-term memory.
