Laura Llobet

Laura Llobet completed 4 years of study at the "Instituto Normal" before being graduated as a Teacher in 1971. Has been teaching at state schools and at private, bilingual schools for more than 30 years. Attended different seminars on education and teaching strategies delivered by professionals from different countries (Britain, Spain, New Zealand, USA, Belgium) and organized workshops for teachers and for parents. Designed an on-line Maths Framework for English Teachers at bilingual schools. Is Maths Coordinator at The British Schools, in Montevideo, since 1988.
Primary Teachers.
- To provide teachers with tools that will enhance students' thinking skills.
- To learn and apply useful problem-solving strategies, focusing on the process and not on the answer in itself.
