- To share my experiences in teaching mathematics in English to children whose mother tongue is Spanish, defening the theory that it is possible to interact with mathematical ideas within the frames of a second language.
- To give practical suggestions and help teachers plan happy, active, and useful mathematics lessons.
- To help students develop the ability to think and reason logically.
- To develop an inquisitive attitude towards mathematical patterns and structures, encouraging a continuing and creative interest in this subject.
- To extend teachers' knowledge of mathematical ideas and techniques.
