- Reflect on the benefit of teachers' collaborative work and its impact on students' performance.
- Gain awareness of the importance of a positive atmosphere and a sense of belonging.
- Hypothesize about possible conflicts in the group and how these can either be prevented or dealt with.
- Steps to project management.
- Teacher's professional development: what's our project for 2008?, What will things be like if we achieve them?, What can we do to make this project work?
- Development of a project work: samples of collaborative boards, backstage of a concert carried out at a primary school in Buenos Aires.
- Clip from the movie "Miss Little Sunshine".
The session combines theory and practice. Lots of examples of hands-on activities and tasks to illustrate the importance of collaborative work. By the end of the session teachers will reflect on the topic and the extent of its value.
