Alejandra Alliende

Alejandra Alliende is a graduate Teacher of English from ISP Dr. Joaquin V. Gonzalez. She also graduated as an Actress from Escuela Metropolitana de Arte Dramático de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. She is a bilingual storyteller and performs in book fairs, storytelling festivals, theatres and schools. She has work experience as a teacher, storyteller, speaker and as a workshop facilitator. She belongs to Red Internacional de Cuentacuentos and she is a co-founder of Casa Cuna Cuenteros.
Primary Teachers.
- To introduce teachers into what Reading in Action is. - To guide teachers into how to select appropriate reading material. - To provide teachers with ideas of activities to be carried out before, while and after reading or storytelling. - To encourage teachers to use reading in a different way. - To guide teachers into how and what to assess when carrying out Reading in Action activities.
Presentation and discussion on what Reading in Action is and how to apply it in the Primary Classroom. Guided reflection and exchange of ideas based on the main points of the presentation Practical tasks for material selection and design of activities.
