She is a Teacher of English, graduate of I.N.S.P "Joaquín. V. González". She is Licenciada en Lengua Inglesa (Universidad Nacional del Litoral).Head of studies at "Colegio Padre Luis Etcheverry Boneo". She lectures Language II at I.E.S. en Lenguas Vivas "Juan Ramón Fernández" and Language I at E.N.S. en Lenguas Vivas "Sofía Esther Broquen de Spangenberg". Course tutor of FCE, CAE and CPE courses at " Instituto William Blake" (1979-2000).

- To provide teachers with a guide to develop reading comprehension skills. - To bridge the gap between teaching reading skills and assessing reading skills. - To present DRTA (Directed Reading Thinking Activity) as an approach to teaching reading at early stages. - To show teachers how to help learners evaluate the fit between information in the text and their own mental representation of the text.
- Notions of literacy. - Reading as a dynamic rhetorical process. - Anchoring Techniques to encourage reading at early stages of learning. Methodology: The session combines theory and practice. There will be a reading assignment for the teachers who attend the session. The coordinator will present activities to develop reading skills so that teachers can experience by themselves the benefits of the DRTA approach. There will be examples from various sources, which teachers an use in their own lessons. By the end of the session the teachers will reflect on the topic and the extent of its learning value.
