She is a British-trained teacher who has taught in London, the Caribbean and Argentina. Her teaching and management experience is wide and includes all areas of school. As a freelance educator, she has lectured on various educational issues and has developed teacher-training modules for use in local bilingual schools.
Kindergarten Heads and Deputies.

To give heads the opportunity to share and reflect on their work in Kindergarten in order to help, motivate, improve and support their important leadership role.
First session: Wednesday 25 April
"Parents on your side" interviewing future parents, getting parents to be supportive, handling difficult parents . Orientation of parents towards good parenting techniques.

Second Session: Wednesday 27 June
"How can technology help our work in Kindergarten?" Jennifer Verschoor will share her enthusiasm and experience with computer programmes for pre-school children. Followed by a discussion and sharing of possibilities of action, benefits gained and ideas on preparing teachers for this.

Thrid Session: Wednesday 22 August
"Looking at Practice" Visiting St. George’s College Quilmes Kindergaten.

Fourth session: Wednesday 24 October
"Intergration in our bilingual programmes – how to get the balance right" We will discuss topics such as handling the pressure from the primary department, Creating a sense of belonging within the whole school,role of English in the kindergarten and links with the official programmes. Looking to 2013 – more topics to discuss.
Short introduction on theme, sharing activities and group discussion.

Varied with each session.
