Contents:
• How young children learn. Review of the different learning methods of the Multiple
Intelligences Theory. Window of Opportunities concept.
• Language development. Acquisition and development of the mother tongue. Second and
Foreign Languages learning. Concept and types of bilingualism.
• Foreign Languages theories, approaches and methods. Review of different approaches
and methods.
• Didactic and methodological strategies. Didactic planning. Selection and sequence of
contents, objectives and activities for the different sections of Elementary Level.
Methodological material and resources. Making use of time. How to evaluate children's
competitions. Criteria for the production of reports of evaluation. How to use the English
production: folders, notice boards, exhibitions and displays.
