Literary texts provide unique ways of representing and exploring the workings of the human mind and the alternative inner world of the other: they are bridges into the self and into otherness. The stories to be discussed in this workshop are attempts to explore that duality; they represent ways into worlds and realities that are alien and familiar at the same time, disquieting and beautiful, unsettling and liberating.
- Presentation of an integrated approach to the texts.
- Guided group reflection and exchange of ideas on the texts.
- Reading of key sections of the short stories to appreciate their narrative power.
