Any teacher interested in the use of cinematic texts in the classroom.
The main objectives of the Film Club are to encourage teachers to:
1-Understand how films function as a sygnifying practice.
2-View film texts critically.
3-Develop a cirtical, transcultural gaze.
4-Design interdisciplinary and intermedial school projects.

The following films will be analysed as from the month of April:
1- "The Hunger Games"
2- "Alice in Wonderland"
3- "The Tempest"
4- "Snow White""
5- "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas"
6- "The Bridges of Madison County"
7-"Animal Farm"
8- Dickens goes to the movies

In all the sessions there will be a theoretical introduction to the film which will be analysed. Then, several scenes from the cinematic texts wil lbe screened and analysed in the light of the concepts presented before.
