To share with teachers of English and other content areas various techniques to exploit the use of video in the classroom using films, TV series, cartoons, TV commercials, humour sketches, and so on.
Video extracts from various films, TV series, cartoons, commercials, humour sketches, etc. and classroom techniques to develop video comprehension and foster "active" viewing on the part of the students.
After a brief introduction to the rationale for using video in the classroom, the coordinator will demonstrate varied activities that can be planned to develop video comprehension using films, TV series, cartoons, TV commercials, humour sketches, etc.
