The purpose of the present session is to introduce the attendants to the cinematic texts and poems created by this visionary director. Burton is the creator of unforgettable characters such as Edward Scissorhands and Jack Skellington. His films have always fascinated both children and teenagers alike. During the session some of his poems will be read and discussed .At the same time Burton's early shorts will be screened and analysed. Finally some scenes from "Edward Scissorhands "(1990) will be analysed, thus encouraging the audience to prepare an appealing and challenging school project which may bring art, literature and film together.
