The English for Teachers I course combines Language Teaching and Language Learning studies and it consists of twenty four modules. Each of the modules is self-contained and includes a variety of activities which provide regular and integrated coverage of the language skills, opportunities for the study of the language system, ways of developing teaching-related language, language awareness and cultural awareness, as well as awareness and evaluation of teaching methodologies. As the English for Teachers I course covers the contents of the ESOL Exam for teachers called TKT, participants will have the opportunity to choose to sit for the TKT modules in any of the exam sessions.
