-Animated short films: a chronological perspective. Main characteristics. Role in the film industry.
-Theoretical framework to analyse animated short films. Mise-en-scène.
- Selection of animated shorts (Napo, Snack Attack, Hair, Piper, Lou, The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore, Lava, Paperman, La Luna, Revolting Rhymes, In a Heartbeat, Ian, Bao, among others)
-Theoretical framework to analyse animated short films. Mise-en-scène.

Hands-on practice workshop. During the session, we will analyse a selection of animated short films and their possible use in the classroom.
