Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. The purpose of this workshop is to take advantage of the pedagogical potential of short stories to delve into Social and Emotional Learning. To this end, we will read some stories and carry out some activities in order to encourage discussion among participants.
N.B.: Please read "Love Is A Fallacy," "Loose Change," " The Thing Around Your Neck," "The Photograph," "The Deceivers," and "Callus" before attending the workshop.
