1. Digital Escape Room
Presenter: Lucía Vallaro
Abstract: Has there ever been a better time than now for students to demonstrate what they have learnt creatively? I doubt it. This digital escape room does not only enable collaboration but also highly increases motivation. As students move up levels in the game, they get to solve problematic situations on a Google Form, aiming to revise for the written exam. Learners work collectively to fulfil challenging linguistic tasks while trying to find successful strategies and solutions to escape the room.
2. Online tools for teaching and learning
Presenter: Denisse Andersen
Abstract: In this session attendees will be able to see how to put various online tools in use in order to help create a new environment for students to get ready for the Cambridge First Exam. This presentation will also show multiple ways in which teachers can give and receive immediate feedback from their students. In addition, teachers will have the opportunity of seeing how to get all the material in only one link for their students to have a better organisation.
