Margaret Atwood is a prolific award-winning writer who excels as a novelist, poet and writer of short stories. On this occasion, we’ll be discussing three short stories from her 2023 collection Old Babes in the Wood, where she deals with different aspects of aging and loss, as well as revisiting her interest in women, often by resorting to mythology.
- The building of character in the three stories
- Ted and Nell as central characters in the collection
- Women in the three stories
- The use of myth
- Themes and their relevance to the community of readers
